Greet people as they arrive, make sure the scouts get a name tag, have people sign in or pick up materials as needed.
Set up tables and chairs and any other equipment as needed for pack meeting.
The assigned den should arrive shortly before the beginning of the Pack Meeting. Use all of your scouts in the color guard and make sure they are in full uniform (shirts tucked in). This den will perform the opening and closing flag ceremony.
The assigned den should perform a song or a skit (5 minutes max) at the pack meeting.
The assigned den should select an activity or project for the "main" activity portion of the Pack meeting. For several pack meetings, this activity is pre-assigned (i.e. Blue/Gold banquet, pinewood derby). Whatever the case, the responsible den is asked to provide parent volunteers to ensure the activity is a success.
The assigned den will be responsible for bringing treats and beverages for all the pack meeting attendees. Plan on treats for 120 people and 6 gallons of beverage. Den will be reimbursed for expenses, SAVE the receipts. Pack allowance is $75-$125. The Pack will provide napkins.
The assigned den should have all their scout families be prepared to stay 15 minutes after the end of the Pack meeting to help clean up. This includes putting tables and chairs away, disposing of trash, sweeping, etc. We need to leave things exactly as we found them upon arrival.
