Misc.
We will be the Grainwood Pack starting this Spring for recruiting purposes and this Fall for practical purposes.
Discussion: standardized recognition of retiring volunteers. In the past we have awarded plaques, scrapbooks, etc. Discussed giving gift certificates i.e. Perkins, coffee, etc.
John Torvik will be retiring as Cubmaster in 2 years- unless somebody is interested in the position sooner. A new Cubmaster should be identified by September 2009 – to apprentice.
Standardized forms for positions/policies implemented and posted on the website. This will make it easier for incoming volunteers to assume duties and save time. A good example would be to list all the duties/etc. ordering of trophies-where/when, for the Pinewood Derby.
Spring Popcorn Sales-this fundraiser option could be available to those that would like to earn money for camp. If so, we would need a volunteer to coordinate.
Meeting adjourned.
